Authentic Greek Tzatziki // Video Tutorial Online
Ingredients
Authentic Greek Tzaziki
400g Yoghurt (alternatively curd mixed with a shot of sparkling water)
1/2 cucumber
1 garlic clove
40mL white vine vinegar
2tbs. olive oil
fresh dill
1/4 of a fresh lemon
1 tsp seasalt
Step-to-Step Guide
- Grate the cucumber in a nice bowl.
- Add the yoghurt into the bowl and stir it up. If you use curd you might just add a shot of sparkling water to make it more smooth.
- Cut the fresh dill, press the garlic and squeeze the fresh lemon into your bowl.
- Now add sea salt, white vine vinegar and the olive oil and stir everything up.
Your home made Greek Tzaziki is ready to be served!
Duration: ca. 5 Minutes
And it goes with everything: Souvlaki, salt potatoes, just with some freshly baked pita or ciabatta. Anything you can think of.
