When you do not have breakfast buns at home...

We had no rolls or bread at home, so I decided to make some.

First I poured 1,5 dl warm milk in a bowl and added 50 g fresh yeast.
IMG_5878.jpg

I waited for app. 10 minutes for the yeast to start rising then I added approximately 600 g white flour, 5 grams of salt and 5 spoonfuls of bran.
IMG_5879.jpg

I also added 3 spoonfuls of pumpkin seed oil.

I mixed it to form a nice, elastic dough.

I put it in a warm place and waited for 30 minutes until it risen to double size.
IMG_5882.jpg

I rolled it and cut into 7 pieces.

I rolled one piece.

I made a knot.

I folded the ends (one above and one below).

I put the buns on a baking plate and put them into the preheated oven. (200 degrees centigrade) I put a small bowl of water into the oven, too (to make steam).

After approximately 15 minutes, they were ready and we could eat them.

Bon apetite!

Very resourceful. You make it look easy.

It is easy indeed :-))

Good job! It looks so tasty! I have never prepared bread at the oven but now I want to try a recipe too. I love how you did that knit, it looks really pretty.

Thanks a lot! :-)

Your bread looks yummy! My mum bakes bread like this for us occasionally too.

Thanks a lot! :-)

Lovely knot in that bun! I'll have to try this with some almond or hemp milk tomorrow. Thanks for such a simple helpful share.

Oh, good luck, it's really tasty, hope you'll like it!
