Healthy Snacking | Tip #1
Healthy Snacks With Dip
This is a personal favorite of mine. I’m a huge fan of chips and dip. But, since that’s not the smartest thing to eat whenever I want too, is snacking on healthy vegetables a good replacement. But eating raw vegetables without anything on the side can be quite boring. So adding a tasty dip will make the vegetables taste a lot better.
You can find a lot of fiber, different vitamins and very little calories in these vegetables. Which is awesome! You can choose your favorite vegetables, and maybe add a few that you’re not so sure about and taste it with the dip. That’s what I did. I don’t like celery, but I want to learn to like it. So I thought I should try it with dip. It tasted much better, but I have to get used to the bitter taste. I’m getting there though!
This is what I chose:
Celery, sugarsnaps, cauliflower, paprika, radish, and carrots. My favorites are carrots and cauliflower. I usually cut a lot more of these. I hope to one day grow my very own vegetables. That would be so much fun.
Wash and cut all your vegetables, and make your dip. Since this is supposed to be fast and easy, I bought this dip mix (you can also make your own by mixing different spices) and mixed it in with something called Mager Kesam. I’m not sure what it’s called in English. But I think it’s called lean curd, or something like that (please correct me if I’m wrong!). You may also use sour cream, but Mager Kesam contains a lot more protein.
And there you have it! A plate with colorful and delicious vegetables. Perfect healthy snacks to serve your friends or family. Your plate will be empty in minutes!
I hope you liked my post. Leave me a comment if you have any tips. All feedback is very much appreciated!
Have a nice day.
