How to - Pastimallows

Pastillas and marshmallows together!

Ingredients

12 drops Red and green food coloring
3/4 cup granulated white sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 (14 oz) can condensed milk
2 1/4 cups powdered milk
20 pieces jet-puffed marshmallows

Procedure

1. In a mixing bowl, combine well powdered milk, condensed milk and melted butter.
2. After mixing, divide the mixture dough in 2 equal parts and set the other half aside for the purpose of making another color. For this recipe, we are only making two colors, green and red.
3. Mix food coloring on the mixture.
4. Prepare granulated sugar and jet-puffed marshmallows.
5. Wrap jet-puffed marshmallows inside the pastillas dough, roll in granulated sugar and put in the paper cups. Repeat the same procedure until the pastimallows are all done.
6. Ready to serve. This will also be good when chilled before serving.
