How to Filipino Style Creamy Bacon and Mushroom Carbonara
Ingredients :
1 lb. Spaghetti
1 Knorr beef cube
1 (4 oz.) can button mushroom
6 ounces bacon, chopped
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
21 ounces all purpose cream
5 cloves minced garlic
2 tablespoons minced parsley
3 quarts water
2 teaspoons salt

- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Set aside.
- In a hot cooking pot, fry bacon until crispy. Set aside.
- Using a small amount of bacon fat or lard, fry minced onion until light brown.
- Add in the button mushrooms, fry with Knorr beef cubes.
- After few minutes of frying, add in the all purpose cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- Add in half of the fried bacon. Continue cooking the mixture for about 2 minutes. Remove from fire.
- In a bowl with the spaghetti, mix all the ingredients - extra bacon, white sauce and parsley.
- Transfer in a serving plate and garnish with extra bacon, Parmesan cheese and parsley. Ready to serve.
