Yeah, we boil them first then bake them :) but both with the ham and ribs you can buy them pre-boiled in the store so you only have to worry about baking them. In my family, we use the stock from boiling the ham to make the other bread dish I wrote about so we rarely buy our ham pre-boiled. I spoke to my dads lady, she told me it is surprisingly easy to make gravlax. I bet there are some recipes out there in English even so you could try it out :D it is so tasty!
