Street Food and Night Life

It's something that runs through Japanese culture from it's most northern tip to it's most southern. No matter what you're looking for, you can probably find it among the hundreds of stalls lining the busy city streets.

Visiting Japan is on many peoples bucket lists and it's no wonder why. The people are brilliant. Respect is earnt and trades and skills are mastered. From wood cutting to sushi to technology. Japan are true pioneers while maintaining their ancient culture at the same time. Truly remarkable.

Japanese Woodworking.

An Art of It's own. These sheets of wood are thinner than paper. Also Ancient technique.

The art of Sushi is remarkable.

There are real masters in the country that have been making Sushi their entire lives.

Tokyo:

It can be one very very busy place! A real HUB of the country.

In this video below

We will see an amazing art piece of a presentation. A serving of a Giant Clam. Brought to us by one of my very favorite youtube channels called Aden Films.

This all happened at a street vendor in Okinawa, Japan in the fishing district.

The giant clam is considered a delicacy in Japan. Many Japanese foods include the meat from the muscles of clams. On the black market, giant clam shells are sold as decorative accoutrements and is largely frowned upon globally. At times large amounts of money were paid for the adductor muscle, which many people believed have aphrodisiac powers. Who would have thought the clam would have made such a culinary mark throughout history!

The video is below, It's one of the very best I've ever personally seen. I hope you enjoy!

How good was the Video food and travel fans?!

Seriously, how good is everything captured? I think the sound, camera angles, everything. It's just perfect. I seriously feel like I'm there. Imagine watching it in Virtual Reality, it won't be long until you can go on a real holiday via technology.

The Curators!
Throughout my time using the platform I've noticed there are people driving the quality content we see in the trending and hot pages. These people are part of the reason that Steemit is a remarkable platform. Not everyone likes to curate or even use steemit for it's true purposes, these people do.
So if you don't mind, drop over to the page of these un-sung heros and give them a follow for supporting our platform!
