Scallops au gratin
Hands up who likes scallops! They are also my favorites. I often eat them when I go to the restaurant but lately I started to prepare them by myself at home and I eat a lot of them. I leave you my recipe to try it because I am sure you will lick your fingers.
Ingredients:
- Scallops: 8
- Bread crumb: 100 g
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Extra virgin olive oil: 40 g
- Lemon peel: 1
- Parsley
- Thyme
- Marjoram
To make the scallops au gratin, start with the panure: remove the breadcrumbs from a bread by removing the crust and cut into small cubes. Transfer it to a mixer, add the oil, salt and pepper to taste, add the aromatic herbs, parsley, marjoram, thyme, and finally grate the lemon zest. Blend it and you will get the panure, with these doses your panure will be moist perfectly, so the result is tasty and does not remain too dry. Take the scallops, place them on a dripping pan, with the shell facing the base so as to fill the scallops with the panure obtained. Once distributed, bake in a preheated oven at 190 ° for about 15 minutes or as soon as an inviting crust will be created. Your scallops au gratin are ready to be served! Serve them while they are still hot!
Enjoy your meal!!

I grew up by the sea, seafood was part of our regular diet, and scallops was always a favorite. I actually like to make a cracker and spice coating and deep fry them. Serve them with some fries and I'm good to go!
