Puloet (Glutinous Rice Grilled)
Today’s walk has led me to this one of traditional food of Aceh, Puloet. Puloet is made from sticky rice which has been steamed then wrapped in banana leaves then roast over charcoal. You can have two or three of them for breakfast. This is a good meal to start the day.
It is look alike rice but it is different when being processed. Glutinous rice is sticky and need more water when it process due to its density.
