Grandma’s Pottery Buns!!
Grandma’s Pottery Buns!!
Week-ends! What is your plan? Mine is classic, visiting grandparents’ home. Although they are passed away but the house is still there and we often come for refreshing time. The house is far away from town so we have to bring what we need for one or two days meal. I made a doughnut breakfast plan and my bad I forgot to pack my cooking oil and icing sugar. Well, the dough must go on. If you want to try this no frying no oven buns, check out what you need!
Prepare your doughnut ingredients: 300 g flour, 2 eggs, 30 g butter, 5 g yeast, pinch of salt and 50 g sugar and 80ml warm milk/water. Mix the dry ingredients and then make a hole in the mix flour add in eggs and warm milk/water then knead. After beating you can keep the dough for an hour till it rise.
I only have a couple of sausages and cheddar so the filling will not be sweet one but you can adjust the filling as you want. My filling: 5 sausages, cheddar cheese, butter and 2 spoon of flour (dissolve with water. I wish I had some vegetables to add, it would taste better.
The dough has turning to be doubled size now you can divide them into several cut then you can go like this.
Wrap the filled bun for 30-40 minutes and we ready to bake. Put on a oven tray or immediately on a pottery like I did then bake time!.
Thank you grandma for your cooking pottery! I do not need cooking oil, I do not even need an oven to bake it! it healthier and worth to try!. Have a good bite! :)
Looking delicious ;)
