Aceh Traditional Sweets

The sweets from Aceh. These are four most populat sweets from Aceh; Wajek, Dodoi, Meseukat and Halua. They are served in special event such as Wedding and Eid.

They are made from different ingredients but sugar. Wajek is made from glutinous rice with sugar. Dodoi is made from flour and sugar. Halua is made from roasted glutinous rice and meuseukat is made from flour, spice and egg. They have long process of cooking to be these sweets.

Kids can't never wait to grab this. They love it.
