Silog Cravings ❤️

Filipinos are known to prepare breakfast called Silog, It is a combination of two words: SInangag or fried rice, and itLOG, which means fried egg either well done or scrambled. It is a very popular meal in the Philippines wherein fried rice ad egg can be combine with several viand like Liempo which is called Liemposilog, Chicken which is Chicksilog, Tapa for Tapsilog, Tocino with rice and a fried egg is Tocilog and many more. There's a lot of options whether it is pork, chicken, beef or fish as long as it is partnered with fried rice and egg, it can be called as Silog.

As I was craving for these Silogs, I discovered a place in Abu Dhabi called Little Manila, an authentic themed restaurant which is located in the opposite of Yas Academy School on Najda Street, Al Dhafrah, Abu Dhabi. They are offering a lot of choices not only silogs, but they also have the famous kwek kwek or quailed eggs, fishballs, kikiams and many more.

As you can see, Little Manila is designed with the iconic Philippine jeepney as a symbol of Filipinos' presence in the UAE.

Luckily that time, there's a free Zagu, a popular Filipino dessert with mixtures of shaved ice, your chosen flavor and evaporated milk to which are added with pearls, nata or jello when you ordered any food. So the silog cravings was really satisfied with an awesome food and a free shake. :)
