Herbs - Facts And Benefits Of Dill
I try to grow different herbs in my backyard because I like to use freshly picked herbs in my salads and other dishes. Yesterday I added a whole bunch of parsley and cilantro (store bought) into my salad, and a bunch of dill (freshly picked from my own little garden.) Herbs contain a lot of vitamins and nutrients that our bodies need, and they taste good.
Dill (pictured below) has the following beneficial characteristics:
- Acts as an anti-inflammatory agent;
- Has an anti-viral properties;
- Acts as an antioxidant agent;
- Improves digestive system.

Dill is also a good source of different vitamins, including vitamin A and Vitamin C, as well as calcium, potassium, iron and other minerals.
Another great benefit of dill is the fact it tastes great! It is very fragrant and delicious when added to different dishes!
