ENERGY and LONGEVITY JUICE!

When your mitochondria use macro-nutrients for energy, a small portion of this energy leaks out of the mitochondrial membrane. These are what you call free radicals and they have a high affinity for oxygen so they can form a “pro-oxidant”. That’s where antioxidants, enzymes and vitamins come in. Here is my recipe for energy AND longevity juice:


INGREDIENTS


  • 20 STALKS ASPARAGUS
  • 1 FULL PARSLEY BUSH
  • 2C SPINACH
  • 1L GOLDEN BEE
  • 1C BARLEY GREENS(or powder equivalent)
  • 1TBSP SPIRULINA
  • 1 KIWI
  • 2cm GINGER
  • GREEN APPLE (optional)

BENEFITS


  • 1g Lysine (carnitine precursor- allows long chain fatty acids through mitochondria membrane).

  • .5g Tyrosine (precursor to CoQ10- needed for electron transport chain “ETC” & antioxidant in mitochondria).

  • 1mg B2 - co-factor in transferring energy from Krebs cycle to ETC, also is part ribose (sugar)- building block of purines(essential for anaerobic respiration).

  • 3mg B3 – integral component to mitochondrial energy and could not function without it, also co-substrate in the sirtuin (anti-ageing) enzyme.

  • Plenty of “Heme” precursors –B2,B5,B6, biotin ALA, zinc, iron copper* produced in mitochondria and promotes oxygenation of blood cells reducing mitochondrial strain.

  • *2mg B5 also used as “CoA” precursor which allows pyruvate to enter Krebs's cycle.

  • *190mcg Alpha lipoic acid(ALA)- also powerful mitochondrial antioxidant & co-factor, uniquely water & fat soluble.

  • *1.4mg of copper which is exceptionally high, it also is used to produce Super-oxide Dismutase (“SOD” King of all antioxidant enzymes).

  • 5mcg PQQ- scavenger SOD, one of few nutrients that multiply and grow mitochondria and an extremely diverse antioxidant.

  • Over 250mg chlorophyll (ridiculously high) which converts ubiquinone (used up CoQ10) back to ubiquinol (useable CoQ10), also increases production of heme and is a strong blood antioxidant and protects against carcinogens.

  • 95mg glutathione powerful antioxidant able to remove heavy metals and pesticides.

  • One of only a few natural sources of super-oxide dismutase (barley).

  • Very high in nitrates (form NO) reduce energy strain on mitochondria and oxygenate the blood for more energy.
