"Spice Melon Seed" - What Are These Interesting But Tasty Seeds?
Sometimes things just don't make sense. Here we see some seeds labeled melon seed but have a photo of what looks like a sunflower.
My friend was eating these seeds recently and the juxtaposition between the "Spice melon Seed" and the flower just seemed so strange.
Can anyone answer if these seeds actually came from a melon and later spiced, or are they from a plant called spice melon? I can't work it out.
Still the seeds were enjoyable to eat. The shells had to be removed and then the seed revealed. I noticed no "spice" at all, but then again I eat chilis for breakfast sometimes.
These were not typically western sunflower seeds and I would be most interested in any light another Steemian can shed on these seeds!
