¡Tequeños!
Good evening, friends, here I bring you some of the most famous open mouths in Venezuela, as are the Tequeños, these are very traditional in family gatherings and parties, usually eat alone but can always be accompanied with some sauce, Different fillings, in this case I bring the traditional, which is made with hard white cheese of cow, which is usually a little salty, this cheese is fresh not ripened, but nevertheless can be made with matured cheeses, that is to your choice. This recipe that I present below yields approximately to about 80 or 100 tequeños.
Ingredients:
1 cubes of condiment soup.
2 or 3 eggs.
half cup water.
2/2 tablespoons melted margarine.
2 tablespoons milk.
500g of wheat flour.
1 / 2kg of hard white cheese.
Preparacion:
- Cut the cheese into pieces of 1x1x5cm, and set aside.
- Melt the cubes with the margarine.
- In an inn a volcano is made with the flour, they begin to add the moist ingredients and begin to gather and to knead.
With a pasta machine or with a roller, the dough is stretched to a thin cloth, which we cut into 2cm strips.
With these tapes wrap each piece of cheese beginning at one end and ending at the other, careful that it is completely covered and closed at each end.

In a cauldron with hot oil fry the tequeños, until they are golden, which happens in about 3 minutes. They are removed from the oil with a perforated spoon and placed on absorbent paper.
And so they prepare the famous tequeños, and after frying them, let them rest and are ready to eat, I recommend, that if you have the opportunity you should try other fillings, such as chocolate, jams, ham or other fillings that are Occur.
PS: The recipe is from my mother, a great cook.
