Mini Eggs Benedict

We went out for breakfast this morning, part of our usual Sunday routine. Go out for breakfast, read the barefoot investor column, and the twenty questions, then off to the shops to get anything we didn't the day before.

Where we go for breakfast can change as it depends on the time, not everything is open Sunday morning at about 08:45 am. There is one place reasonably close to us that is, and they do both good coffee and good food.

I typically get their eggs Benedict, today however I noticed that they have a "mini" eggs Benedict. Something a little smaller sounded good, and should minimise the impact of going out will have on loosing weight for the week. Yes I am still on the weight loss regime.

I do like the sauce, and the runny eggs that make a good Benedict, plus some nice ham, and something to mop it all up with of course (so no toasted bread). Eggs Benedict isn't typically a "neat" breakfast item, and I do want to get all of the egg and the sauce, yum, yum. The "mini" was almost the perfect size, which I will order again when we go back there. It is a when not an if.
