Cooking Recipes: Baked Potato Wedges
Hello Steemians, how's everyone doing today? Good? Good. Have I ever told you I love fries? However, since they can get a little monotonous, I decided to find an alternating dish. And that's when I discovered baked potato wedges. Every time I have them, I prefer them to fries more and more.
Anyway, here are the ingredients:
• Four large baking potatoes unpeeled
• 60 ml olive oil
• 9 gms salt
• 1.5 gms black pepper
Simple ingredients to find, now:
• Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C
• Scrub the potatoes and cut them all into two lengthwise then cut each half into three also lengthwise. You should have six long wedges from each potato
• Mix the potatoes, oil, and pepper on a baking sheet and ensure the wedges are generously oiled
• Spread them in a single layer, one cut side down
• Bake the potatoes for about 35-40 minutes, turning them to the other cut side after 20 minutes
• Bake until they are crispy, tender on the inside, and lightly browned
• Serve hot and season with salt
Mmm, delicious. You can also dip the potato wedges in any condiments such as sauce, mustard or mayonnaise and serve them together with other foods you'd eat fries with. Enjoy!
