New Potato Flavours - Singapore Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice

Found these 2 flavours of Potato Chips on sale in Singapore.

You must be wondering why these flavours becomes a talking point when i was carrying them around.

I was shopping in a Mall and the sales person came over and asked me where did i buy these chips. I told her i bought it from Singapore Chinatown, though i cannot remember the stall name.

Apparently "Singapore Laksa"and "Hainanese Chicken Rice" are one of the well known dishes in Singapore.

As for Hainanese Chicken Rice, it is rice boiled with chicken stock. The chicken is normally served separately and the most important is their black sauce and hot, ginger and vinegar chilli sauce.

Now that you can visually see the 2 dishes, you can imagine what sort of taste or flavour it would be as potato chips.

I personally did not like these flavours but i guess if you want to be noticed, buy a couple of them and you will be surprised by the attention you get. Besides the sales person asking me, i had a lady with a child, 2 school girls and a couple of older ladies that approached me with the same questions.
I thought maybe i should buy more, set up a road side stall and sell them for a profit. These people were so fascinated by these new flavours that they were not concerned about the price. They were prepared to pay just to try at least once. Not sure how many like these flavours though.

The next time i am in Singapore i should ask around and see how many people have tried and what are their feedback.
