Original Recipe with Photos: Cloudy Cake full of Flowers, Lions and Waves!
Clouds. Clouds. Clouds. Clouds that turn into the seas full of soft and fluffy waves... or flowers... or lions... or anything You want as long as You are with Your head raised up.
Maybe I am crazy. Absolutely out of my head. Almost breathing and jumping all over the place... But when I think of my childhood, the only thing I can remember so clearly is this cake. Oh, wait, not only remember, but actually feel the taste. Still feel the taste!
This is the main reason why I want to share it with You. Well, also because I am the only one from my entire family that can actually cook it and also because it is something that can take Your breath away and make Your heart skip a beat.
So, let's start! What do we need?
300 grams of butter, 150 grams of sugar, 2 eggs (or 1 huge), 4 spoons of sour cream, 1 table spoon of baking soda, 600 - 650 grams of flower (n'ah, just kidding, flour). For the filling soft as spring grass we will need: 150 grams of any Your (or Your mom's, dad's, sister's, brother's) favorite jam, 500 grams of cream cheese, 80 grams of sugar, 3 eggs, 2 table spoons of vanilla sugar.
I know, I know, it sounds difficult as hell. With all these ingredients and measurements, but call the pug down. I am here and I will help You!
Let's start! Sugar says: "What's up Ya'll? You look eggsellent!" to the eggs.
Melted butter joins this meeting.
While they are dancing like crazy, baking soda drowns into the sour cream.
Later on, it joins this sugar and egg's reunion.
Flour jumps into a bowl and makes such a huge mess. All You knead is love and little bit of batter up.
All of them danced like crazy till turned into this thick and solid piece, then they have fallen down on the tin-plate.
Spent around 20 minutes in that hot, hot, extra hot room.
2 egg whites have fallen in love with the sugar (also vanilla sugar) and started their love dance.
Cream cheese got so jelly, so decided to disturb it.
The party lions of this party bumped on the surface of the previous party.
Later on, jam started jammin' and joined this event.
Everything was covered with 1/3 of the first party and egg white.
They were having the hottest party. To be exact, at 180ºC for around 45 minutes.
Been there and decided to try a little bit. Just a little bit. Just a tiny little bit... as I did not want to get fat... just a little bit.
