Taking the Cream Out of Ice Cream (Vegan Friendly)
More and more people are more than willing to forgo the cream in their ice cream.
A number of local retailers and manufacturers that specialize in the summertime frozen favorite are offering vegan versions of it, saying that interest is growing among consumers for such a dairy-free, plant-based alternative.
U.S. sales of plant-based ice-cream products increased by about 26%, to $166 million in 2017, according to a study by market researcher Nielsen that was conducted on behalf of the Plant Based Foods Association. The association says that many popular ice-cream brands, from Häagen-Dazs to Halo Top, now carry vegan flavors.
If you recently been to the ice cream aisle you will notice a new brand of ice cream starting to takeover.
That brand is HaloTop!!! The brand is known for having low calorie ice cream flavors but still taste the same as our favorite counterparts. They have a extensive bvegan friendly dairy free ice cream line. Although I can’t prove this at this moment I do believe that they have the largest selection of dairy free ice cream flavors .
Do you know of any other brands with a large selection of dairy free Ice Cream?
