The Peninsular Tailor Cafeteria - A Pretty Interesting Theme For A Cafe
Hey guys, today's post is on the Peninsular cafe that opened not many months ago in Melaka. It's located at an alley, so you won't see it from the main road. It's different because it looks like a tailor shop from the outside.
I thought it was a tailor shop initially! It's funny because it's opposite a big advertisement for massages. The reflection is just weird lol.
I didn't try their main course but I think they generally serve Western food. We ordered the dessert instead since it was after dinner.
The inside of the cafe.
What's cool about the place is that they play like super old music from ancient China. It gives you the olden day feel lol. You'll probably hear those songs during Ip Man's time.
I ordered the milk tea. It wasn't as nice as I hoped to be. Somehow it tasted like Thai tea instead.
This is their tofu cheesecake. It was pretty good.
Their original waffle, with huge chunks of butter and syrup. It costs around RM 9+.
I ordered their matcha waffle and it was quite nice. The color is a little thick but it wasn't bad at all. Price: RM 14+.
Overall, the ambience was quite decent and the waffles were not bad. The price is the same as most cafes in Melaka. In short, they're all over priced.
Thanks for reading!
Haha nice place, but is crazy that doesn't looks like a coffe at all in the outside
It's pretty cool eh haha
Dishes look very beautiful. I even dont know how dare you eat this art :)))
Very cool idea with outdoor design. Looks like it says "pay attention to the detailes not only to big things"!
I preserve their beauty through photos :P
Looks like a really nice place wei. I would go there one day. :) Making me hunger for desserts now :P
Haha quite a small place
The moment I saw the shop's front design, immediately reminded me of Kingsman ! LOL.
