Honestly, I thought it would be awful when it was offered to me years ago. XD I may try your idea with my vegan vanilla ice creams. :D
Do it! Report upon the findings! For culinary science! I might try this apples and onions thing on the weekend. I could take it to the next level, bake an apple pie then top it with peppery vanilla ice ceeam!
