Kumquat Compote 糖渍金桔

kumquat is not only a beautiful fruit but also contains rich Vitamin C, and we all know it's good for our health. Usually, many Chinese people would like to buy a pot of kumquat to enjoy it during Spring Festival for its golden fruits and good symbol--good luck. Today I would like to share with you a traditional simple and delicious dessert --Kumquat Compote. I have to say this dessert is a good appetizer, and also, has the bility to ward off colds or cough. In any case, we need to take care of our bodies in the changeful seasons.

Ingredients:

kumquat
sugar
rock candy

Instructions:

1.Wash and soak it with salt for about 30 min.
2.Remove it to a large mixing bowl and add in some sugar, put it in freezer for about 12 hour.
3.Cut it but don't cut off. one by one.

4.Add in some sugar and cover lid, then put it in freezer for about 12 hours.

5.Add water, sugar and kumquats to a saucepan, heat it and bring it to boil and then cook it over low heat until the soup became thick. turn off heat and cool it.

It is done.

The cooked kumquats are beautiful shine, and can be edible or make tea with it, soft, sour and sweet, very appetizing!

金桔,枝叶繁茂,碧绿的叶子上面点缀一颗颗金色的果实,非常漂亮。一般过年的时候很多人都喜欢买一盆金桔摆放在家里,寓意新年大吉。它不仅具观赏价值,果实还富含维生素C, 对人体有很多好处。所以今天给大家分享一下这道简单又好吃的传统甜点,糖渍金桔。不仅可以开胃,还有预防感冒,能治咳嗽的功效。春天这忽冷忽热的天气,大家注意保护好自己的身体。

做法:

1、金桔清洗干净,用淡盐水浸泡1小时。取出,控干水分。
2、在金桔上划几刀,然后加入白糖腌制12小时。
3、取一个小锅,倒入400 ml 水,放入少许冰糖和腌制好的金桔,大火煮开,转小火熬1小时至汤汁粘稠的状态。(自己喜好的程度。)
4、凉凉,即可食用。吃不完,密封保存至冰箱,由于自己做的没有防腐剂,需尽快食用。

糖的用量根据自己喜欢的程度来酌情增减。

煮好的金桔透明富有光泽,可直接食用,也可以泡茶来喝,软糯酸甜,非常开胃。

还没有哦,下次试试,应该能好喝 ,因为我直接吃都觉得很赞。

但真的試蜜糖的話, 不要用熱水, 只用溫或暖水.

盐渍樱花其实我拿来泡茶的比较少,这是我拿来保存花朵的方式。一般要用的时候,我会把盐洗掉,然后拿来做芝士蛋糕啊布丁啊什么的时候做配料,等有机会我po上来给大家看😊
