Easy like a Sunday morning
This weekend was the first whole weekend together for me and my wife this year. My wife works in three shifts and I have been doing some overtime hours at work, so our schedules haven´t been matching at all. Of course, we see each other almost every day at least a little bit, but now, we finally had time to spend the whole weekend together just the two of us. The best things to do together when having a day off, are sleeping as long as you want without alarm waking you up and making breakfast together. Today was our cheat day, so we decided to make something good and tasty…
Banana pancakes! Actually, these pancakes are much healthier than the normal ones. These ones are only made from bananas and eggs. The only unhealthy thing is that maple syrup on top of them.
Banana pancakes are very easy and quick to make. For two persons, you need just two bananas and two eggs. Put them into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the batter into the pan and fry with medium heat (we did smaller pancakes, they are much easier to flip around). And just one tip: choose as green bananas as possible, because then your pancakes stick together better and won´t break down so easily.
We also baked a few mini croissants.
I think that our next free weekend together will be in March. Then we are going to a trip again!
Nam, looks very delicious! :-)
Croissants look so good! Enjoy your time together!
Thank you, we will! :)
