๐Ÿ’š Green Smoothie: AVOCADO and BANANA ๐Ÿ’š Photo Recipe ๐Ÿ’•

If there is one thing that we love here in Straya it's avocados. Australians LOVE avocados. Avocados are also healthy AF, they are really nutrient-dense with around 20 vitamins and minerals and they are a healthy form of fat. I don't know if I even liked avocados that much when I moved to Australia, but I love them now too! Just like I love vegemite! Plus, look how cute avocados look in a smoothie: ๐Ÿ˜

This smoothie is so quick and easy to make, and makes for a great breakfast or afternoon snack. The banana and the honey helps to make the smoothie sweet while still keeping the yummy flavour of the avocado. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Per person I use: Avocado (half), Banana (either a full small banana or half a big banana), Honey (a drizzle, taste test - you can always add more!), Milk (I use almond and coconut milk, or just almond milk, depending on what is in my fridge, and just pour in amount enough to cover my ingredients as shown), Ice Cubes (about 3 or 4 - today I was unorganized and only had one!) ๐Ÿ˜…

Oh! and a strawberry for decoration, if you want, haha ๐Ÿ“

Spoon in the avo and the banana ๐ŸŒ

Lug in your milk, your ice cubes, and drizzle the honey over the top! give it a spin and add more honey to taste if not sweet enough for you! or even a little more banana

Serve: your perfect breakfast smoothie or afternoon snack!

Yum!! Starting the day in a good way!

My favourite smoothie is a frozen banana, blitzed with linseeds, a bit of cacao, and if necessary, some sort of milk (coconut is epic)

Tastes just like a banana milkshake with none of the guilt! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

I love avocado in shakes, it adds such a nice creamy texture, and they are so great for their healthy fats and fiber content. Excellent super food and treat. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

Add some cacao. Substitute agave for the honey (I would to veganise, plus I like the taste better in smoothies anyway) and you've got a chocolate smoothie! Perhaps add some peanut butter or PB2 to give it a chocolate peanut flavour.

mmmm yummm... I love a peanut butter chocolate combo. I have never used agave before actually but I think I will get some next time I am in the supermarket and try it out on your recommendation :) thank you @choogirl!!

Give it ago. I like it best as a sweetener over honey and maple syrup since it has a milder flavour and is not as strong when you make something.
