Cafe Mary Grace - Uptown

The interior design of Cafe Mary Grace in Uptown Mall BGC can calm a person down - it's very serene and beautiful. Looking up to their ceiling you will see these mechanical metal contraptions. Some in the form of butterflies, some are birds, and there are dragonflies too. There are also lamps that are full of "fireflies" in them.

You'd have fun just by looking at them flap their wings and sparkle inside their lamps.

We had Mushroom Cream Pasta and Seafood Pasta, and an extra slice of their Chocolate Cake on the side. Hubby also bought root beer for him, it's a brand I don't know (usually he drinks Sarsi or Mug - we just saw this brand "Barq's" at the grocery before going to this cafe).

MUSHROOM CREAM

Fettuccine noodles tossed in a delicious cream with slivers of shiitake mushrooms, and flavored with the essence of truffle.

SEAFOOD PASTA

A medley of fresh clams, mussels, prawns, squid and cream dory enhanced with herbs, olives and mushrooms.

The Mushroom Pasta was for me and Seafood's for hubby. Their pasta tastes great! I can compare it to Tony & Sergio's mixed mushroom pasta but this was better, it was lighter but more flavorful the texture of the mushrooms are great too. Hubby said his was delicious too - it's just that the seafood were a bit tough and hard to chew (especially the shrimp - I understand the clams, mussels, and squid being tough but not the shrimp).

He liked the Barq's root beer. He said it was better than Mug and it didn't made him burp too many times. Haha.

I'd love it if we can dine here every month let's say, so that I can sample all of their offerings. I'm sure every order would taste real good and will be full of heart.
