Hello steemit family, I am happy to share with you guys one of my recipe that my family is delighted with. This is my version of "Rellenong Bangus".

My Rellenong Bangus Recipe

Rellenong Bangus is one of the most popular dishes in the Philippines every time we have occasion like birthday, Christmas season, New Year or even ordinary days at home. A unique process of preparation compared to other fish recipes, every time i make this recipe its take a lot of time. I let the vendor to do separating the skin from meat here in our (palengke) area. And I’ll do the deboning and flaking of the milkfish meat this kind of recipe requires a lot of patience too.

Ingredients:

1 large sized bangus (milkfish)
1 big onion chopped, finely
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small sized of carrot, chopped into small cubes
2 small potato, chopped into small cubes
¼ kilo ground pork (washed with running water using the strainer)
1 box raisin
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. fish sauce
1 sachet magic sarap
1 pc bell pepper chopped finely
2 pcs raw eggs
1 pc powdered milk tipid pack 25g
1 pc hardboiled egg

Here’s how to start:

• Wash well the skin, drain and marinate with kalamansi, soy sauce, and ground pepper. Set aside.
• Boil fish meat with a little water, drain, remove the bones, and separate the meat fish. Set aside.
• In the pan, put oil and sauté garlic until brown, add onion and ground pork, and a little fish sauce, let it cook for a while until the color is brown.
• Add the fish meat, carrots, potatoes, bell pepper and ground pepper, season with magic sarap), raisins and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and let it cook about 5 minutes. Let it cool.
• When it cools add the raw eggs, and powdered milk. Mix well.
• Transfer cooked mixture to a plate. Fill-in mixture in bangus skin with hardboiled egg.
• Deep the bangus into flour with the mixture of iodized salt and ground pepper before deep frying.
