Maccha (green tea) shortbread & Hojicha (Japanese brown tea) shortbread/抹茶とほうじ茶のショートブレッド
Today, I introduce my baking products sold at a Japanese grocery store in downtown Washington, DC. I use two different kinds of premium maccha (green tea powder) and fully roasted Hojicha (Japanese brown tea) for my shortbreads. Hope some of you can taste them when you are in Washington, DC!
今日は、ワシントンDCの日本食料品店はなマーケットさんに卸している抹茶とほうじ茶のショートブレッドのご紹介です。抹茶は、日本製の抹茶とアメリカ製のオーガニックの抹茶の独自のブレンドを使用、ほうじ茶は、一般のほうじ茶よりも深煎りのほうじ茶を使うことで、食べた時に風味が口の中に広がるように作りました。もし、どなたかワシントンDCにいらっしゃる際には是非試してみてくださいね。

I love matcha in my baking. Just used it in a recipe for Green Tea Sprinkles for a donut. :)
