Coconut Cream & Peach Smoothie with a Little Secret - Food Photo Shoot
Happy Spring everyone, I haven't had the time to do posts everyday so happy belated Spring.
And, I did not jump on the bandwagon yesterday for Happy Birthday Steemit, but I'll send a card later.
I have not posted a smoothie in a long time, which is kind of funny because we do smoothies at least 5 days a week in my house. Southern Chile always has so much fruit available that we are always making smoothies. A lot of the times, I must admit, we're using fruits that are getting ready to go bad and the only thing you can do with them is make a smoothie.
One fruit that I never use because I think it really jacks of the flavor of other fruits, that is grapefruit. I never recommend adding that to a smoothie, but hey, it's up to you, of course.
Smoothies are without a doubt the best way to get some raw food nutrition into those hard to please eaters. My little brothers hardly ever eat veggies or a lot of the fruits, but when I put them in a smoothie, they think it is great.
So, by now you're surely asking what the 'secret' is to this smoothie, yes? Ok, I will tell you, as you can see in the photo above, I added white beans.
You should give it a try. The beans add very little flavor, but they add this amazing texture once blended up. Really, you got to try it. A huge source of protein.

This is simply screaming at me "Drink me now you fool! Don't wait a millisecond longer!" haha, dang this is crazy delicious I bet. Another masterpiece concoction. I would love to taste the texture of the mixed in white beans. How innovative my friend!
Thanks @verbal-d. As always, your comments are fantastic.
You're most welcome. Glad to comment and have fun at the same time
I would have liked to see that on my kitchen counter, already made, this morning, lol! Isn't it nice to live in fruit country! I really feel for folks that can't get good fruit easily. Nice trick with the beans -- I will definitely try that when my peaches are ripe this summer! I bet you haven't missed very many days of posting in your time here on Steemit!
No, I haven't missed many days, maybe 5 total. There a more trips ahead that are going to cause some missed days. Going camping on the ocean this next week if everything works out ok. Yes, do try the white beans. I always enjoy your comments, thanks so much
