MTV Wanted to Document How We Live our Life: At the Conclusion of Weeks of Filming, We Threw a Party to Celebrate!

in #food8 years ago

Because of our commitment and focus, we're able to produce an abundance to share!

We enjoy our outreach and sharing meals with the firemen, single mothers, families, and the homeless, and we're very successful at it. In fact, MTV heard about what we do and how we live and came to film a documentary for some weeks.

We're not supposed to talk about it until the show airs on prime time MTV, but we will share that they made sure to film one of our Epic Events.

We work hard, and we celebrate by feeding more people more meals.

The Eden Knights love to party, and we enjoy hosting Epic Events as opportunities to showcase our super sustainable lifestyle

It's great fun to open our home to guests and share our alternative realities with family and friends old and new! Here's a Steemit exclusive glimpse of our MTV finale party:

MTV films a private conversation at our finale parties. Can you find the 6 MTV crew members?

At our events, we like to share our beyond organic tea and smoking blends and homemade wine and homemade beer.

We like to feature live music, and our dear friends from the stellar Bhakti House Band blessed our space.

We always have an epic feast, with more food than anyone can eat prepared in our outdoor kitchen because we love food. This is super sustainable, high vibe cuisine, and we invite our guests to take as much as they want. World-class music, food, and spirits for 100 people--where else but the Garden of Eden can you find such entertainment offered freely??

At our parties, we prefer feasting hobbit style with a schedule of meals.

We featured a Mexican fiesta with fully customizable tacos, handmade tamales in banana leaves, oregano rice, and pinto beans for first dinner.

Second dinner started with crab bisque, Eden greens, and grilled bread with herbed dipping oil, followed by 9 chickens and a goose marinated in lavender and lemon grass in balsamic vinegar with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetable medley.

For elevensies, we served New York cheesecake and a fig, apricot, and chocolate mint sauce with caramel, chocolate, and nut crumbles.

Midnight snack featured fresh fire-popped popcorn.

For pre-breakfast, our partygoers enjoyed the march of leftovers.

The MTV crew said it was their favorite shoot EVER. To be honest, we weren't surprised.

"If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world." — J.R.R. Tolkien

We had a great time, and as epic as MTV's presence are the regular standards by which we operate. We had enough food for 100 people, plus entertainment, beyond organic tea and smoking blends, AND homemade wine and beer, and NOTHING was purchased from a store or taxed! All the food was prepared over fire, and all the fuel for the fire was salvaged. Even our stoves were built by hand from dirt! These are the alternatives we enjoy sharing most! There's more than enough of everything, and ANYTHING is possible!

What a great life! We regularly have enough food for hundreds of people. We're planning our next feed the need event to share even more meals.

Stay tuned!

This was fantastic! Giving thanks for the endless epic opportunities that unfold in the vortex~*~

What epic events we host. At the Garden of Eden we are our own party as our life itself is worth celebrating. Blessed we are to share such a profound experience with others.

OMG! We do throw the best parties, hands down! Good food, good music, good times, good friends and family. What else can I say?...except for the timely pre-party rain and spontaneous slip-n-slide!!! Life at the Garden of Eden never gets boring.

We can cover the sustainable slip n slide in an upcoming post.

Fresh air and a person receives good energy from nature and delicious food cooked over a campfire.

Hahaha, thank you!

100% organic sustainable partying is probably one of the most epic things you could do... Supreme jubilation ^~* I shall partake in the future!

True, and sustainable partying on MTV is even MORE epic!

Sustainability is indeed of the UTMOST importance!
Though as you say "partying with MTV in sustainable fashion is truly an extraordinary accomplishment!"
