1. Kheer

Kheer is my favourite dessert. Personally, I eat it at least 2 or 3 times a week and every time it feels so good. Indian moms are perfect in making kheer. If you find have any opportunity to have an Indian dessert, go for kheer. It tastes even better when cooled. It require very few number of ingredients, primarily Rice, milk, khoya and dry fruits. It takes some time to cook but its complete worth.

2. Halwa

Halwa is also one of the best and heavy dessert. You can only consume a small amount of it at one time. It also take quite a time to cook. There are different types of halwa like Gajar Halva, Moong Halwa, Besan Halwa and the list goes on. According to me Moong halwa is the best among all halwa desserts but it takes 2 or 3 times more than any halwa to cook.

3. Rabri

If you haven’t tasted Rabri then you have no right to die peacefully. Your mouth will start watering, even by looking at its ingredient. Its ingredients include thickened and sweetened milk, separate layers of malai, almonds, pistachios and saffron. There are also different flavours of rabri and personally, I like rose flavour. It is so mesmerising that you cannot forget the feeling of eating Rabri. It is so smooth that once you taste it you would want to eat it every day.

4. Gulab Jamun

Gulab Jamun is famous for it interesting shape and incredible taste. It is a special dish that is always a part of any occasion taking from any simple party to a weeding ceremony. It is prepared by deep frying the khoya balls with sugar syrup. It does’t take long to cook as compared to other Indian dessert.

I'm Bangali, I love Kheer ......... it's a very tasty dessert :)

Yeah! Kheer is my favourite too :)

And my most favourite is Rasgulla........... definitely Bangla Rasgulla

Nice! Kheer is all around the world. Even in Lithuania we prepare it, just the name is different. I have tasted one amazing Kheer in Turkey, of course, the name was different from the Indian version, but the taste, kill me, was exactly the same. Delicious!

Great to hear that! Yeah! Kheer is awesome. It tastes even more awesome with rose flavour.

Sound delish! I had the ice cream which is great and should be on the list

Ice creams are pretty casual and also I have mentioned only traditional desserts of India.
