Biscuits with edible flowers for not so happy days
Hey steemian,
My week has started great! Not at all! I have some problems and issues with my bakery, with my health, but I’m trying to keep my optimism level high. It’s hard, but life goes on so do I.
When I am down, I don’t feel to innovate in the kitchen or try new recipes. But tomorrow I’m gonna try the sucessful corn cookie of Christina Tosi. I hope I’ll be in the mood.
Today’s recipe is short bread with edible flowers. They are easy to make. You need to beat with a mixer 125 g butter with 100 sugar.
Add some vanilla extract, one egg and 250 g flour.
Mix until you get a dough. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Shape them as you want and press some flowers over them.
Bake for 10 minutes at 180C or until lightly golden. The flowers will shrink but it’s not a problem.
Enjoy,

waaw the cookies look delicious 😋 enjoy and have a nice day!
Gracias por sentirte así deprimida que te hizo escribir esta sencilla y practica receta. Me gustaría hacer las galletas a mis niñas pero no tengo mantequilla cuanto puedo usar de aceite.
