Cook With Me: Cauliflower Gobi Manchurian Recipe [Step By Step photos]
Super Delicious & tasty Cauliflower Gobi Manchurian is a popular Indo-Chinese recipe. It's also a popular Indian street food.
Ingredients:
- 1 big Cauliflower (cut into pieces)
- Oil
- 1 Onion cut into long pieces
- coriander leaves chopped finelly
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 spoon sugar
- Chili powder
- 100gm Maida flour / Plain Flour
- 100 gm Corn Flour
- 2 Green Chilli
- 3 Dry Red Chillies
- 1 spoon Geera /Cumin Seeds
- Ginger cut into pieces
- Garlic (1 full)
- Cinnamon
- 2 Cloves
- Soya sauce
- Vinegar
- 1 Tomato
Method:
- Take hot water in a bowl add 1 - 1/2 spoon salt and soak Cauliflower pieces for 15 minutes and keep aside.
To Make Home Made Gobi Manchurian Masala Paste:
- Take a pan, put 1 spoon oil. Add Cinnamon pieces and fry for few seconds and remove.
- Take mixer jar, add fried cinnamon, ginger, garlic, green chilies, red dry chilies, cumin seeds, and tomato( cut into pieces). Grind till Paste & keep aside.
- Now drain water from Cauliflower. Make sure its not watery.
- Take bowl, Add corn flour and plain flour/ maida. Add 1 tablespoon salt. Add 1 tablespoon red chili powder. Add little water (200 ml) and mix well.
- Add cauliflower and mix well.
- Take Pan and pour oil to 3/4th of the pan. Bring it to heat. After flames start coming from oil, slowly drop Cauliflower pieces one by one and fry it till it turns golden brown.
- Keep all fried crispy cauliflower aside.
- Take a pan, Add 2-3 spoon oil, add onions. Fry for a minute and add the masala paste. When it start bubbling, add 1 spoon salt, 1/2 spoon sugar, 1 spoon soya sauce, 1 spoon vinegar. Mix well. Finally add fried gobi/cauliflower and mix well. Then add coriander leaves and hot spicy crispy Cauliflower Gobi Manchurian is ready to serve with tomato sauce.
