Apple Peanut Butter Cupcakes recipe

INGREDIENTS:

For the Cupcakes

• 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 4 tablespoons butter, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 large egg
• 1/3 cup buttermilk
• 1 1/2 cups of apple, peeled and shredded (I used 2 medium apples)

For the Peanut Butter Frosting

• 6 tablespoons butter, softened
• 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
• 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 tablespoons milk, more if needed
• 2-3 cups powdered sugar
