Healthy recipe - Pasta with tomato sauce and green peas

For this post I've made pasta with tomato sauce and green peas.

Why green peas?

Peas contain a unique assortment of phytonutrients with protective effect on the body.

Peas is a good source of vitamins like:

  • vitamin A
  • vitamin B
  • vitamin C
  • vitamin K

Another reason why green peas are great is because peans are a good source of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, zinc and selenium. Green peas beans are loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory such as flavonoids, carotenoids, phenolic acids.

Let me show you how to make this pasta.

Ingredients:

  • tomato souce
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • green peas
  • olive oil
  • pasta
  • parmesan

Put in a pot olive oil add onion and the carrot and let them on fire for 3 minutes. Then add the tomato souce and a little water and let them boil for 30 minutes.

Next add the green peas and let them for another 5-10 minutes.

Put this souce in the pot with the pasta, add parmesan and mix them for 2 minutes.

The pasta is ready for you.
