Bingsu
Bingsu or bingsoo is a famous Korean dessert primarily made of shaved ice that is topped with sweet toppings.
Patbingsu or patbingsoo, an early form of bingsu is a shaved ice topped with red beans (red beans is known as pat, thus the name). In modern days however, the patbingsu has evolved into what we now call the bingsu which has a variety of sweet toppings that range from fruit syrup, condensed milk and fruits.
Here in the Philippines, our very own version of this bingsu is what we call the halo-halo: a combination of shaved ice, milk, beans, sweetened banana or sweet potato, ube, jackfruit, leche flan and a lot more :)
This chocolate bingsu was ordered in Ice Flower Korean Dessert Cafe in Mall of Asia.

Owww. So hows the Bingsu ate? Our very own halo-halo or bingsu? Staring at this photo made me crave for milo :/ Haha
Our very own halo.halo. hihi. Kaya lang parang version of bingsu nadin sya dba? Hahaha. Ai try mo yang sa cafe na yan sobra pino ng shaved ice nila masarap kahit milk la g halo. melts in your mouth ang peg. Hihi.
Nowadays, Korea is getting warmer.
On a hot day, Bingsu is the best dessert
The same goes for our halo-halo here. Nothing beats the summer heat than having a bowl of halo-halo may that be for dessert or not. The past couple weeks however had been cold and rainy in here so not so much on the halo-halo I'm afraid.
