2 1/2 cups plus 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, cut into pieces and chilled
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup ice water
6 cups hulled and halved strawberries
1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 egg, beaten
