How to make Venezuelan Tequeños | Cheese fingers
Hello friends of Steemit, today I want to share with you a delicious recipe and at the same time very simple to prepare that is ideal to do when we have a meeting at home with guests or even for a snack.
These are the famous “tequeños”, known in a large part of Latin America, mainly in Venezuela and Colombia, the “tequeños” are a cone or little finger of cheese covered with dough, which is baked or cooked in a hot pan with oil and ready, only enjoy.
It is a delicious recipe, simple and with few ingredients. I made it thanks to the recipe of a girl on YouTube from which I will leave the video so you can do it like me, the result is incredible, if you do it the only thing you will regret is not doing more.
The recipe taken from Cocina Para Todos:
- 1 cup (140grs) of all-purpose wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) of cold water
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons (30grs) of butter
- 1 spoon of sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- Cheese of your choice chopped into sticks (It can be Mozzarella, white or emental)
I also want to share with you images of my process making this yummy recipe, this recipe can not only be made with cheese, they can be filled with chocolate fingers, with ham and cheese, with sausages; in truth there are many options to make a delicious “tequeños” and highlight in any meeting that we have especially now on the Holidays.
Here is the video to follow the steps of this recipe
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
Hugs!
