It's almost summer and what do you drink in summer? Refreshing sparkling strawberry mocktail! Ok, it's not summer yet, but at home we are currently addicted to this mocktail and we like to drink this almost everyday. Even if it's around 10 degrees Celsius outside, we like to pretend it's already summer by drinking this refreshing mocktail. This drink reminds us of our last holiday in Indonesia. We ordered at the shopping mall a strawberry mocktail. Huh? Mocktail? Yes, this is a mocktail, not a cocktail. A mocktail is almost similar to a cocktail, but it is made without alcohol. (For those who don't know it yet).

For making this sparkling strawberry mocktail I used 99% natural ingredients.

Ingredients

1,5 liter cold Sparkling mineral water

100 ml strawberry syrup
Fresh mint leaves
4 lemons
4 limes
500 gram strawberries
Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

Wash the lemons and limes and cut two of the lemons and limes in slices.

Cut the remaining two lemons and limes in two and squeeze out the juice using a juicer.

Cut some mint sprigs from the plant, wash them and pick a handful of mint leaves.

Crush some mint leaves with a mortar and pestle (for extra flavour).

Wash the strawberries and cut them in pieces.

Take a glass jug and pour in the cold sparkling mineral water.

Pour in 100 ml of strawberry syrup. The bubbles look so relaxing!

Add the lemon+lime juice and the remaining ingredients to the cocktail.

Place the glass jug of sparkling strawberry mojito mocktail in the fridge for at least an hour to get the mint taste in the mocktail. For extra refreshment you can also use ice cubes.

This drink is super refreshing and if you drink this, you will be addicted too like me and you will feel like you are on the beach (with your eyes closed).
