Oriental cuisine is a type of cuisine that comes from the Asian island countries such as Indonesia, China, Japan, India, Arabia, Pakistan and other eastern countries. The oriental cuisine is a blend of some Asian recipes that are easily recognizable from the look, aroma and taste because oriental cuisine always uses the main ingredients such as garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, tomato sauce, sesame oil, ang chiu etc. Spices used are usually fresh spices that directly formulated. The strikingly sharp oriental states are Indian, Pakistani and Burmese. While Japan, Korea and Vietnam follow the taste. Chinese cuisine in general. Muang Thay, Filipino, and Malaysian tastes are closer to the taste of Indonesian cuisine.

Oriental cuisine is always served as a staple food such as rice, noodles or corn so it contains more carbohydrates than animal and vegetable proteins.   1. Chinese cuisine
    Chinese cuisine is one of oriental food that is known and loved by the people of Indonesia. Materials and seasonings are easily obtained. The staple food of the Chinese is rice served with side dishes. Instead of rice is usually used noodles or vermicelli. Materials that are widely used for side dishes are pork, poultry, eggs and seafood products known as seafood. Vegetables are jelly, cabbage, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, peas, tofu and mushrooms. The main flavoring spices are various soy sauce, sauce, oyster, vetsin, garlic, pork oil, sesame oil, peanut oil and chicken oil.

  2. Indian, Arabic, and Pakistani Cuisine
    The Arab, Indian and Pakistani staple foods are rice and all kinds of bread, eaten with side dishes such as gule and curry. Goat guling or grilled meat and kebabs are the most famous foods. In northern India and Pakistan the main food is a country of bread made from wheat flour and water without yeast.

There are several types of bread made, including:

a) Nan and chapatti are made from a mixture of wheat and thinly formed water.

b) Rhoti is a kind of chapatti made thicker

c) Paratha bread is thicker than chapatti and fried in butter or ghee.

In southern India, the staple food is rice eaten with side dishes of pork, chicken, eggs and seafood. Also used are nuts and chutney. Seasonings used are dry seasonings with strong aromas and flavors. One of the most popular spices is curry. In the food is also used oil samin camel oil for frying or sauteing.Selain it is also used yoghurt. As desserts are used cakes or candied fruit.

  1. Filipino cuisine
    The staple food of the Philippines consists of rice eaten with side dishes, especially Fish Fund is a blend of Eastern and Western cuisine. American influence is mainly seen in desserts of pudding, ice cream and fruit.
