WELCOME TO MY KITCHEN - EYES CLOSED COOKING

First thing’s first: Don’t let the name of this blog fool you. I do not mean to say I’m such an awesome cook that I can make anything with my eyes closed. Rather, my meals come out looking like I did, in fact….. make them with my eyes closed. I’m one of those people who learns as they go, and I hope some of you out there can relate! I’m eager to have this blog help me perfect my cooking skills and if it helps others along the way, that’s all the better! My cooking motto is simple: no rules, no limits, and get as messy as you can get. Ask my husband, I’m one of the messiest people in the kitchen. But in my defense, it’s my secret weapon to ensuring a yummy meal.

A little bit about myself on a personal note: My name is Renee and I live in California with my husband and daughter. I recently became a stay at home mom so I will spend my time cooking when my daughter takes her naps. For this reason, I like recipes that are quick, easy, and leave lots of delicious leftovers.
