Korean Persimmon 반시(ban shi)
There are a few different varieties as well and drying them is also popular. Some are larger and a bit more tough but 반시 pronounced ‘ban she’ is soft and tender. Actually when they are ripe, if you’re not careful in handling them, the skin will actually break, revealing the fruit inside.
This is a great fruit to have any time of the day and is very rich in vitamin C with a touch of calcium as well. I hope you can all get a chance to try this wonderful fruit.
Until next time, be healthy and happy!

I love the taste of persimmons! Thanks for sharing~
Me too, glad you enjoyed!
OMG! I thought this fruit would exist only in Italy! We have it as well in my country, we call it caco and it is naturally extra-sweet and extra-soft. Love it!
Thanks for dedicating this post to such an under-rated fruit :P
Such a delicious fruit, in some areas they make wine out of it as well. Quite sweet. Thanks for stopping by :)
HOPE YOU WILL UPVOTE ME ALSO ..😄
