EVENTS DURING RAMADHAN

To welcome ramadhan month, indonesian people generally and aceh province in particular always celebrate ramadhan month with some activities of being together with relatives or close friends like the following activities:

1. To welcome ramadan, the people of indonesia in general and aceh province in particular always celebrate ramadan along with tadarrus together. Tadarrus is a recitation of the qur'an together in the month of ramadhan after tarawih prayer together.
2. Play fireworks and firecrackers at night after tarawih prayer is over and often done around 12.00 wib until 03.00 wib.
3. Eating sahur. Eating sahur is breaking the fast together at the time of dawn and usually done around 04.30 pm until 05.00 pm.
