My Travel Diary Page #66 Don't be intrigued by the colours.
Me and my friend found this food truck model flauda-ice cream place on a lunch time stroll around the place. It only opens in the evening and so we left thinking we'll try from there on Monday.
Fast forward to the story, my dear friend fell down from the stairs on the weekend and daaged her spine pretty badly. It is been mpre than a week now, she is getting better back at her hometown, Bombay.
So, I finally decided to go there and find out what this colourful truck had to offer. The menu is simple, they have few drinks and ice creams for a very cheap price.
I asked for a kulfi faluda which wasn't available. The guy recommended the special faluda then and I agreed. He mixed many things, and it came out like this.
Just as colorful as the truck. The first bite of the ice cream, honestly, I didn't like it. The ice cream was of not a very good quality. But the concept of the faluda was good. (whatt!!!)
Let me explain, it had many things, vermicelli, dry fruits, cherries papaya, something tasted like a jelly solid, basil seeds mixed in a milkshake like base. So that tasted different. But the ice cream pretty much ruined it.
Do I recommend this place? Hmm, you can try it for once, if you have a good immune tummy. Many people were having it from there. Well, I don't think I will be taking my friend here when she is back though.
