Turning our backs to toxic foods...
From MPH Program Lists website: http://mphprogramslist.com/50-jawdroppingly-toxic-food-additives-to-avoid/
Where has our understanding of nutrition gone? It's smashed between layers of chili cheese fries, deep fried everything, and mountains of sugar for which we need a shovel to dig our way to the surface. With obesity and cancer rates higher now than ever before it's quite obvious we need to question what has become our normalcy. Without drawing this out too much its quite clear our current predicament is based on two factors; lack of education and a whole spectrum of different new food options.
Today people are taught basic information about nutrition in school but then they step out into a world that contradicts all this and it's basically information override at that point. We're almost ignorant when it comes to knowing what to eat and what toxic foods actually do to your body when consumed. The lack of knowledge of nutrition is an obvious factor but the overwhelming number of unhealthy options available today is very concerning. Filled with so many chemicals and additives it's questionable to even call some of these fast food products real food, which makes you wonder how it's even legal to add toxic compounds into food that will need to be processed by human bodies. It's almost a war on humanity because it doesn't take a genius to know that you don't pick up a bottle of chemical dyes (food coloring) and chug it down,. Why? Because it's not food! Yet it's used in tons of manufactured food products and although regulation agencies exist, none of them restrict this business practice to protect it's citizens.
There is an awareness building that will lead to people becoming the regulators and turning their backs on these poisonous products while moving toward cleaner food options. If we turn our backs to these products then they will stop selling them. It's a power of consumerism that we as consumers fail to exercise, instead we've been wrangled around by marketing and conditioning and made to like what they say we should like.
Poison is bad, therefore don't eat poison...
I couldn't agree with you more my friend! It all starts with what we put in our body and unfortunately corruption and greed has taken over every aspect of our lives.
