Themed restaurants are always quite popular primarily owing to their being different from others and also because they cater to a specific segment of customers often referred to as a niche group.

There a lot of such restaurants around these days categorized solely on the basis of cuisine they serve like fast food restaurant, Lebanese restaurant and buffet restaurant etc. There is however one that totally stands apart because it is called The Bikers Café, yes, it is a café for the Bikers, by the bikers and yes we will be slightly biased towards them, after-all, we are Eat, Ride, Repeat and motorcycling is what we live for apart from food.

Earlier, they had a much smaller outlet but now they are in a much bigger and much better outlet. There are also a lot of events that happen where we see brands like Ducati and Triumph partnering with The Biker’s Cafe for some test ride events.
Let’s see what is so special about this place.

AMBIANCE

Located on the Golf Course Road in Emaar MGF Palm Spring Plaza this place is very easily accessible by road and now by metro too. Lots of parking space, is surely a relief, which most people in Delhi would understand why.

They have both outdoor seating and indoor area. The space inside is pretty big with a square bar in the centre along with bar stools for solo riders. This surely does not look out of place and kind of suits the overall environment inside the restaurant.

There is lot of space inside with some really comfortable seats that can easily accommodate 4-6 people. On the tables you have a puzzle game that can keep you very well occupied guessing motorcycle brands.

The cutlery it seems is made by fusing regular spoons and forks with spanners and pliers, this would give you the feeling of sitting in your garage and being a grease monkey. This little element adds to the fact that it is a biker’s café.

There is also a small stage for live performances, which otherwise is the resting area for foosball and ice hockey tables. Both these things are very good for killing time before your meal is served.

The walls are decorated with huge motorcycle posters and various other props like exhaust pipes, sprockets, chains, tanks, wheels etc. Not even for a moment would you feel that you are away from the world of motorcycling.

FOOD

Over to another important part, food. We have been to their Vasant Kunj outlet and enjoyed everything that we ordered. So, must say that we had same expectations from this place too.

We were welcomed with lemonade shots with roasted papad and mayonnaise as a goodwill gesture. Shots were good and papad was crisp, but it is the gesture that matters and we really liked it.

Our first choice was Aglio Olio Peperoncini pasta with vegetables which turned out to be quite the looker and first bite revealed that there was right amount of olive oil and garlic, both essential part of Aglio Olio Pasta. Also added were sundried tomatoes, black olives, baby corn, zucchini, broccoli and beans. Topped with parmesan cheese, pasta sure did taste good with rich aroma of cheese and garlic. It goes well with a load of bread, but we would have preferred a butter toasted bread instead of the soggy one which they serve.

Next up was Mushroom, corn, Olives and Jalapenos Pizza which supposedly uses barbeque sauce but somehow we desperately kept eating more and more pieces of it to find some taste. We frantically added Oregano and chilli flakes but it was so bland that we had to sprinkle salt on a pizza for the first time. Also, the pizza had scanty amounts of cheese on it which is also evidently clear form the picture we clicked. This we did not like at all.

The biker’s café also provides some really good options for juices and unlike others that just pour the juice straight out of a Tropicana or real carton, theirs are fresh and pulpy. We ordered Cardio Brainiac which consists of carrot, tomato and beetroot among other ingredients and tasted very good while being absolutely healthy. Strongly recommended.

OVERALL

Honestly we loved the place for it is probably the only proper biker’s café in Delhi NCR, one where a biker would feel comfortable and at home.

In terms of food, they have a rich and diverse menu mostly American style food and most items taste good. So, our verdict is, we loved this place and this will surely become our regular hangout spot.
