RE: Like Coffee? Hario Mini Mill manual ceramic burr grinder review

in #food7 years ago

Have you ever tried the Hario Skerton? It's super popular on Amazon (sells better than the Mini Mill) but I find it a bit clumsy to use and the coarser the grind the less consistency it has so the Mini Mill wins out.

I actually prefer the Porlex JP-30 over both since the size is good for a comfortable grip and the stainless steel construction eliminates the static cling effect that can be annoying with the plastic Hario.

Any of 'em are better than using a blade grinder though!

The only manual grinder that I have tried is this one. The coffee grounds do stick a little due to static, but when you dump it out into the filter, most of the grounds exit with a small tap.
