Chicken croquettes filled with ham and cheese!

in #food7 years ago

The photograph speaks more than I ever could describe it in words.

Groceries:
400 grams chicken breast fillet
1 egg
60 grams of bread crumbs
1 hand of fresh leaves of parsley
40 grams of pizza ham
40 grams of semi-hard cheese or pizza cheese
Salt and pepper (as desired)
Flour, eggs and bread crumbs for baking

Instructions:

1.Cut chicken fillets into smaller pieces and place them in an electric chopper. Add a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of pepper and whole parsley leaves. Sift all ingredients into finely ground chicken meat.

2.Chop the minced meat into a deep bowl and mix it with 1 whole egg and 60 grams of bread crumbs. Place the resulting mixture briefly in the refrigerator.

3.Place chilled chicken meat between two sheets of stretch film. Using the hands or roller roll, grind the ground meat in a square of thickness up to 1 cm. Remove the top foil from the meat.

4.Cut the ham and cheese on thin strips, not more than 5 mm thick. The length of the strip should be determined by the desired length of chicken crochet.

5.Cut the cut meat into a few long strips slightly broader than the strip of ham and cheese with which you will fill them.

6.Fill the croquettes by placing one strip of ham and cheese, then chop them into chicken meat. When the two ends of chicken are joined, cut off the knife and close the chicken croaker on all sides and, if necessary, correct the shape of the crochet.

7.Before breading put chicken croquettes in an additional 5 to 10 minutes in the refrigerator for easier handling.

8.Do the breading standard. So put chicken croutons first into flour, then into the egg yolks, and finally into the bread crumbs.

9.Cook chicken croutons in deep oil, but not on too hot fire, so that you will not have the croquettes quickly dried outdoors, and in the middle you will be raw. When you receive a nice golden brown color, put them on a paper napkin that will absorb excess oil from them.

10.Serve them with the sauce as desired and the cold beer :). Good apetite!

Notes:
If you do not want to work your homemade chicken minced meat you can freely buy almost ground meat. Just be careful to buy some better quality minced meat as it will most depend on the taste of the croquet, but also how easy to prepare it.
If you have grated chicken too fingertips, soak your fingers with cold water every few minutes to avoid sticking, but also to make the croissants even more beautiful.
