Would You Try The New McDonald's Nutella Burger?

in #food8 years ago

It's real. The new McDonald's Nutella burger has been launched in Italy and it's creating a lot of buzz. The burger looks like it has meat but it doesn't, it's just a Nutella patty in-between two buns. It's known as the Sweety con Nutella, and it comes in its very own signature box. This isn't the first crazy item to be released from McDonald's, there are many others that have come and gone and still available today that you might not have ever heard of.

The Nutella obsession continues to grow, with the chocolate-replacement spread ending up in a variety of items on the market today. Many people even claim to be addicted to the hazelnut treat. And one man has even dedicated an entire Instagram account toward his love for Nutella.

And now it's made its way to burgers. But for now, there are no plans yet for the burger to be launched anywhere else. Though others have expressed their interest over the idea and the item itself.

The plan is for the sandwich to be sold at the Mcdonald's McCafe, and not as part of the hot food counter. If that is their intention then it's clear that they want it to be seen as more of a bakery item than a traditional sandwich like they normally serve.

It's fitting for the Nutella burger to be launched in Italy, since the product itself originated there, as it was created by the Italian company Ferrero.

What do you think about the new item, would you ever try it ?

Absolutely not, that like all McDonald's crap is bad for you. Mainly because Nutella is packed with processed sugar which is horrible for your health. But also as always it is GMO. Nutella also contains a fake version of vanilla called Vanilin which is a chemical that some people claim is a neurotoxin. I wouldn't touch anything at Mcdonald's with a ten foot pole. I have boycotted that disgusting food chain for years now.

Looks kind of grouse. I'd rather try the Arbys venison sandwich. Yummmie!

Mmmm! Venison! Now that I would gobble up! Yummy! 😋😋😋

Hmmmmm. Maybe. I guess. I like nutella. Just not that much bread with it. But I'd give it a go!

That's not possible!!! NO WAY! :D

I heard nutella is supposed to be quite bad though I get to eat it infrequently.
Not something I'll pay the big M for.

yes health experts aren't very fond of it.. :)

Nope, but we did enjoy pistachio butter (cream?) in Italy. I'd eat that anyday.
